Carey made a susceptible transition from the world of POP music to R&B in the height of her career. Crossing her over from a well-known pop singer to a World renowned Diva. Her growing celebrity fame also speculates rumors about her world famous voice- which has become one of the most recognizable voices in over 70 countries. Rumors, that she has a seven-octave voice.

In the early days of her career, Mariah's voice was never suppressed. Infact, with each song, it continues to blossom by notes by notes by notes.

To many, Daydream is the album that official crosses Mariah Carey to the R&B chapter of her music. It's filled with the rhythm and blues that, many believes that she was trying to sound more "black" than usual -but that's the many factors of Mariah's fluctuating voice. Her duet with Boys II Men "One sweet Day" showcases her voice as a soul singer. Flawless, such as "Forever" and "Underneath the stars"

If Daydream was at the highlight of Mariah Carey's career, then Rainbow has to be the plummet of her musical career. Although with critics, it may have started with "Butterfly”. The songs on theses slumping albums, still do emphasize on Carey's voice, but hardly. She begins this low-whispering key factor on many of the tracks, and the ballads are replaced with R&B quiet storms (Thank God I Found You), (My All).

Rainbow is the first album, written by Carey after her much publicized divorce.

Mariah Carey's voice is a privilege, which most people endorse over. Her voice is strong and uplifting. This beautiful singer gives beautiful music to us all. She would always be framed in time as one of the best singers ever!
