"Mariah Carey 10 Best Songs" was conducted as a poll/special feature to be featured on Cove Magazine.com in November of 2005. Voting began in July 2005 and concluded in October. During the 3 months period, Almost 1'600 votes were collected. Voters had to choose one song from Carey's 125 songs that were included in the poll.

"The Voting was very diverse as many of Mariah Carey's fan's had their own opinion of what they thought is Mariah's best song. Overall, I think that there was only one clear winner. Which the majority picked. Still any of the songs may have just been be the #1 Best Song, if the other wasn't recorded, but Mariah Carey has always been known to out-do herself.
