Carrie Underwood Sings National Anthem
Last year's American Idol winner Carrie Underwood sang at the NFL Playoffs on Monday night (Jan 23 2006). Which she did a fantastic job. Her vocals were intact, and though a bit nervous she kept it under control. After all, it's not easy performing in front of tens of thousands of football fans. Who very much encouraged her. Underwood vocals are very much powerful and very country.

CHECK ON BEYONCE
The beautiful Beyonce is back, in her first of many post- Destiny's Child projects. I'm sure the Crazy In Love singer, has a check list of all things she has to do in 2006. First up, promote the heck out of her new movie, "The Pink Panther" starring herself and comedian, Steve Martin. (Cheaper By The Dozen 2). Which would be in theaters next month.
She has already have a killer video out called "Check On It", which is rotating on BET, VH1, and MTV among others every day. It's hot ! What exactly is she talking about? You Tell Me. While the future for Ms Knowles is looking good, Beyonce may also have to watch her back. Former Destiny's Child members are coming up. Ex-member, Letoya, who was outed from the group in 2000, is showing some signs of life. How big would she be? Will she over take Beyonce as the princess of hip hop / R&B?
