On the Jazz list
The Jazz chart on the August 2008 Editor’s List was led by Kenny G, whose album the list marks as six months at No. 1. Fifth place went to “Sweater Song” by Erin Bode, credited to The Little Garden, and the MusicBrainz track listing confirms it. Another singer-songwriter, Alyssa Graham, took No. 10. The list also included Taylor Eigsti, the pianist, at No. 9.
Cove said nothing about the song beyond placing it, and its method note covers every list in the edition: Songs are rated by the Editors of Cove Magazine. This list is by no means world wide, since albums selected are normally released only in North America.

Eight albums on MusicBrainz. The first two are on MAXJAZZ. The Little Garden carries Native Language, with a Japanese release on OMAGATOKI. The two 2010 albums have no label in the record, the 2013 and 2016 albums are marked as having none, and the 2021 album is on Ropeadope. The Little Garden and Alyssa Graham’s Echo share a release date in MusicBrainz, 29 July 2008, so the two singers on Cove’s Jazz list were both promoting albums released the same day.
Origin and description
MusicBrainz names Wayzata, Minnesota, as her origin. Wikipedia places her music somewhere between jazz, folk and pop, and the label history shows the same drift: a jazz imprint for the first two albums, then other labels, and for two albums none at all.
What is documented since
MusicBrainz shows Photograph and a seasonal album, A Cold December Night, both in 2010. Then come Be Still, My Soul (2013), Here & Now (2016) and YourSong Volume 1 (October 2021), the latest release it holds. Tour history, sales and radio play are not published in the sources used here, and the page does not guess at them.
Wikipedia’s article on her is short. MusicBrainz holds far more about her releases, which is why a profile like this one, sourced and dated, is worth having.
