On Cove’s list
No. 8 on the Christian chart of the August 2008 Editor’s List is “Any Which Way”, credited to Here We Go Again. The MusicBrainz track listing of that album includes it at track 9, and the same title reappears on the 2009 remix album. The rest of the list: Third Day, Above the Golden State, Francesca Battistelli, 21:03, Jaci Velasquez and Salvador. Cove’s method note: Songs are rated by the Editors of Cove Magazine. This list is by no means world wide, since albums selected are normally released only in North America.

MusicBrainz records the group as active from 2006 to 2011 and lists six albums. Wikipedia gives the same six, but several dates differ:
- ReNRGized: MusicBrainz says 17 March 2009; Wikipedia says December 2008.
- Graduation: MusicBrainz says 3 August 2010; Wikipedia says 20 July 2010.
- Here We Go Again: both agree on April 2008.
- The Real Thing: both agree on July 2009.
We show MusicBrainz’s dates throughout and list the differences here, rather than silently mixing sources.
The label
Wikipedia says the group signed to Fervent Records in late 2006. In MusicBrainz the earliest label on each album varies between Curb Records, Fervent Records and Word Entertainment. Francesca Battistelli’s My Paper Heart, five places above on the same Cove list, shows the same pairing of Curb and Fervent.
The end of the run
The title of the last album, Graduation: The Best of pureNRG, describes what happened. It is a compilation, and MusicBrainz closes the group’s active span in 2011. Neither source we use names the members in a form we could cross-check, so this page does not list them. Nothing under the group’s name appears after 2010.
For a group whose entire catalogue fits in four years, Cove’s August 2008 list falls almost exactly at the midpoint.
Here We Go Again, track by track
“Any Which Way” is track 9. MusicBrainz dates this US release only to 2008; the release group’s first-release date is 29 April 2008.
